Governing Body

Cottingley Primary Academy Governing Body

School Governors are the largest volunteer force in the country. Governors make an important contribution within our school’s local community whilst also playing an integral role in shaping the future for the children that attend Cottingley Primary Academy. The Governors at Cottingley come from all walks of life and sections of the community.  Almost anyone can serve as a Governor: parents, school staff, business or local community representatives. All you need to be a Governor is a commitment to help the Academy and its children and a willingness to offer your time, energy and knowledge.

Being a Governor at Cottingley is challenging and stimulating, but most of all rewarding!  If you are interested in becoming a Governor at our Academy or would like to make contact with the Chair of the Governing Body, please contact our Clerk to the Governing Body, Mrs S Nield on 0113 2709503 or by email at contactus@cottingleyprimaryacademy.org. Thank you.

The Governing Body at Cottingley Primary Academy are fully involved in school life and meet regularly throughout the year to discuss various issues to help school provide the best outcomes and opportunities for our children.
